Russian staffing firm Ancor Group announced it has acquired Pribor, a search and selection firm focused on IT specialists. Pribor is also based in Russia.
Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed. However, Forbes reports that a source within Forbes who is familiar with the negotiations knows that the deal was worth USD 5 million.
Pribor will remain an autonomous unit within the Ancor group of companies.
Pribor’s ‘Selection’ system is a smart system for finding programmers, testers, analysts, product managers and other IT professionals. With its help, recruiters and recruiters can quickly find relevant candidates: programmers, testers, analysts, product managers and other IT professionals.
“‘Selection’ is a successful product on the market, which is already used by the Ancor team. The team’s expertise and 30 years of experience in the HR industry will allow us to launch new HR-tech products and implement complex solutions for our clients,” Sergey Salikov, CEO of Ancor Group said.
Salikov added that IT recruiters at Ancor have been filling vacancies with the help of “Selection” for more than a year.
The entire team will continue to independently work on the ‘Selection’ product.
Salikov expects that Pribor will become a leader among technological solutions for IT recruitment in the coming years in Russia and the CIS countries.
