Russia war fears: Putin and Xi plot Biden trap in ‘two-front crisis he can’t win’

  • December 07, 2021

Ukraine’s Defence Minister, Oleksii Reznikov, has urged Canada, the United States and Britain to provide military support to Ukraine.

Speaking to The Globe and Mail, Mr Reznikov called on “the Anglo-Saxon allies” to act outside the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, if necessary, in providing weapons and other support to Ukraine’s military.

He said the countries air defence, naval, and electronic warfare capabilities need upgrading in the face of the threat posed by Russia.

He called for anti-aircraft missiles, modern warplanes and naval craft, electronic jamming equipment as well as Canadian, US and British soldiers visibly deployed on the front line. Mr Reznikov believes this would be a “good sign” for Russia.
